About Eric & Clearwater Brands
Born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, in 1981, Eric began life in a family‑built underground geothermal home in Manchester. At age six, his family moved to their farm in Hillsboro, where Eric’s upbringing was shaped by hard work, responsibility, and a strong commitment to family. Summers were spent cutting hay, raising cattle, running the sawmill, logging, building pole barns, wiring commercial buildings, operating heavy equipment, and—long before it became a business—building swimming pools.
At 18, Eric purchased his first backhoe and launched his own company, taking on everything from pool construction and pole barns to grading work and general contracting.
God‑Inspired Direction
Years later, Eric felt God calling him to expand Clearwater Brands with a mission centered not on income, but on people. As he followed God’s leading, doors opened, relationships formed, and a team was built one person at a time. Clearwater Brands grew rapidly, always with a clear purpose: to honor Jesus through service, integrity, and excellence.
National Recognition & Growth
In 2013, Clearwater Brands was awarded an exclusive National Blemished Spa contract, a milestone that expanded the company’s reach and strengthened relationships nationwide. Over the following years, spa sales continued to soar, earning Clearwater Brands recognition as one of the top three national retailers for Aqua Rest Spas.
The company has been featured in Dreammaker Spas’ newsletters, Spa Retailer Magazine, the Kathy Ireland Show, and has been voted Manchester’s Finest Pool and Spa Dealer multiple years running.
A Family Grounded in Faith
The dream of becoming a debt‑free, cash‑operated business—first envisioned in 2008–2009—became reality in 2016. Since then, Eric and his wife Katie have expanded their family to include four amazing children. As they’ve watched both their family and their business grow, they have learned to trust God in every area of life—marriage, finances, parenting, and business.
Clearwater Brands Today
Clearwater Brands has grown into one of the largest independently owned retailers of spas and hot tubs in the United States, shipping products nationwide. In the midst of this growth, the heart of the company remains firmly rooted in its values: honoring God, serving people well, conducting business with integrity, building trusting relationships, and maintaining a culture where employees and customers feel genuinely cared for.
